24 karat gold plated stainless steel, aluminium
An all metal magazine with embossed and etched ‘pages’ by contemporary artists and fashion photographers.
The inkless and paperless publication aims to take the durable capabilities of high-performance, weather-resistant gadgetry and apply them to the medium of the art and fashion image. This issue was laser gold plated (24 karat) which is a process that electrochemically deposits gold. This method creates a surface that can be physically cleaned.
BACKGROUND
Visionaire is a multi-format fashion publication that curates, collaborates, organizes events and art installations that explores innovative and thought provoking concepts.
As a Production Designer, I was responsible for researching, designing, prototyping, and preparing samples for all the developing projects at Visionaire.
